Has promoted the academic interests of part-time students by demonstrated awareness of the special needs of part-time students. For example, the accessibility of faculty or staff to part-time students or significant university committee, teaching or administrative involvement.

Has promoted a cultural and social environment of benefit to part-time students through university or student association involvement.

Has promoted the interests of part-time studies with the community at large by significant voluntary community involvement or encouraging liaison between the university and the community.
